It’s the most common phrase here in Uruguay and I do believe they kinda mean it. After living so long in Holland where ‘no’ is the favorite word of all times, and in Buenos Aires they give you a look, sneer and pull a face when you ask something out of the usual and rush off to see if they are able to toast bread for instance. Here its a real pleasure to constantly hear ‘como no’. Can I have that over easy, dressing on the side, pay with dollars, pay later, a ride to town…. Of course why not!! Although I did have the brain wave today, maybe this is also a sign that I need to start saying it myself more often – will give it a try, a whole week of saying; si, como no…..

Finally, found a new place to live and have finally moved in – after a rather long and wobbly adventure. The day after I landed and got the key I had my first visitors (very international, which got strange looks anytime anyone asked us: Polish living in Holland, a Slovenian / Argentine – and Dutch /Australian living in Uruguay), fun to have them here, so nice to have both the space and a week of good weather. We hired a car and off we went on and off the touristy trail – 3 happy little vegemite’s, and we all agree its a stunning place and even I saw and visited some things I’d not seen before such as Laguna del sauce, the sunset at Casapueblo, and we also went to some of places which are a must such as La Huella in Jose Ignacio, and Café Flo in La Barra. There are also some great new eating spots in La Barra like 3 Mundos, Rody’s, La Biccileta, and Pura Vida restaurant – and I am also in love with Boca Chica in Punta for the best all round American breakfast. So good Friends, Conversation, Sun, fun and food; life really is good!!!

Easter seemed not to be a very big deal, surprisingly as the idea to sell / eat and celebrate Jesus is globally a popular event and a good excuse for a few days off. The only Easter activity we founds was the ‘Hunky dory Jesus contest’ in Dolores Park, an interesting display of outfits, and a right giggle but am sorry to report a disappointing lack of anything hunky dory. We also went up to Golden Gate and ate some of the most incredible fish at Scoma’s in Sausalito, where we also watched Mr. Zen put together the most incredible balancing stones – very impressive. Also visited a Korean Spa, a first for me – an interesting experience to say the least, first you are scrubbed all over (sandpapered harshly more like), then massaged (pulverized), before having hair washed, face covered in salad, and the drowned in milk, finished off by a lovely smelling/ relaxing red clay sauna, so despite the tears am I have no doubt its amazingly good for both skin and body. I flew a very long way back to BA, and am now super busy getting ready for the move to Uruguay. Can’t believe the whole vacation was over in blink – a super good, fun blink though! And very sad to say goodbye to Sima, looking forward August!

What a whirlwind mystery tour, wow. I did so much and met so many amazing people in the space of one week that it really shocked me literally to the core – and am left with a huge cold. Hence taking it very easy now! So went on a yoga / hike through to a few of the vortexes, a channeling session of the pleiadians. Even, believe it not – hired a car (yes, this really is a first) and drove all the way up to Second Mesa – Hopi land, and would have like to spend more time there than driving. It was what it was, my own fault for taking the long route – and then getting lost on the way back; I was still honored at the chance to see prophecy rock – and to get a feel of the energy of the place. On top of that visited a lot of galleries such as that of Honshin, and Andrea Smith, where I was inspired by some amazing artwork, ate some top food, especially good raw food and dessert at the Chocolate tree – would have liked to eat at Elote, but didn’t manage the 1-2hr wait (all day and every day). So in summary of numbers, one hike, one fall down the hill, one session with a psychic (very good), one channeling, two days of endless driving, two hours down route 66, five different hotels, seven inspiring beautiful people, countless stars in the night sky, limitless stunning landscape. And all that before flying out of Phoenix – where I could help but notice they have a parking lot for Cel’s?? go figure – on top of all my other experiences it was the icing on the cake.

Am so enjoying being in San Francisco, not only the time to just be free, hang out with Sima – also loving the chance to tantalize my taste buds in a city where vegan/ raw / vegetarian / organic options are reality and just as good as everything else on the menu. The best two I’ve been to so far; one called café gratitude

Best Mexican Vegetarian

, I love the question of the day, ‘what you are grateful for’, I had to honestly say everything, as well as the amazing people I am lucky enough to have in my life. I love it, the vibe, the food, the idea, I had a drink called ‘I am worthy’, to go with my ‘I am transformational’ raw food sandwich. Everyone was genuinely happy, as was I.

The other restaurant was a Mexican, Gracias Madre, which was also unbelievably delicious, I had the mole, it was all too good to be true and spent longer trying to decide what to have, than eating it.

The other thing I really like about this city is that almost everyone has sliding fees, which is great makes everything more available, and inclusive rather exclusive. I love the idea. I thought I might do that in my future projects, stop naming the price but let people pay what they think it is worth to them… and see how that works out.

This books has reeled me in, Daniel Suelo is a complete inspiration and fascination. I would have thought it impossible to really leave behind money 100% – His thought process and idealism is really motivating, and the book on a whole is one that you just can’t put down and dwells on your mind and makes one reflect their own lifestyle, thoughts and way of living. Sometimes this level of being is so rare in the world, as reflected in the segment where a Buddhist monastery turns him away, and yes they probably would haven’t turned away the Buddha who also would have lived without money – but alas most spiritual teachers at this time have not managed to master this, while Daniel has taken that in his stride and has done just that and in the land where money is God, which makes it all a even more amazing feat. A recommended thought provoking – reading for all!
