San Telmo = Sunday market madness

San Telmo

Click photos to go to Gallery….
Had an amazing Sunday down the market. Decided that countries that are; repressed, struggling, have terrible governments are 100% more passionate and opinionated which in turn leads to an abundance of creativity. The photos, art, handicrafts, street artists, dancers, singers, band (yes on the street with piano and soprano singer) were just amazing.  Saw some of the most creative and beautiful ideas and art work ever.  I just walked around in complete awe.  The place is so inspiring, although done nothing creative so far, as the photos taken hardly do the work and place any justice……

No Stalking please…

Had my first stalker the other day, freaked me out a little - funny how when we are 15-20 we are kinda impressed by the fact the guy has the car, gives you attention and is cute.  But honey, after that we just think your bordering on severe psychopathic behaviour and we’re not impressed. So guys please take my advice don’t stalk - go around the block 15 times - drive slowly infront of us or behind or around or get out of the car to try to talk to us - it’s just kinda freaky! And yes you will get a blank, to rather rude reaction.  So, no we aren’t impressed by your car or you driving ability. But I guess on a positive note thanks for showing us so early what kinda of guy you are so we can by all means avoid you in the future. Safe driving :-)

Pinamar: A few days at the seaside

Garde at hotel

Hired a bike and raced around on the deadly treadly.  Was great fun – felt like that kid in the music video that crosses America – of course I just crossed Pinamar – but felt the same. Decided to keep going until I came to a hill that I couldn’t be arsed going up, so ended up in miles away.  So scenic though, trees, forests, rolling hills, gorgeous houses (incl. one named Mishquila – love it), parrots and wildlife. And the air smells amazing as it’s tainted with the scent of pine with a touch of eucalyptus - umm. It’s great, everyone is friendly and it’s off season so very quiet and sleepy; so much reflects the way I feel.  Am going to go lounge out in the sunshine in the hotels huge garden and go get sleepy with it ;-)

p.s. Had to laugh at the ‘Wannabis – cool bar’ such a funny name for a sushi place (see photo)  also nice that let us know it’s a cool ‘cause otherwise we’d all be unlikely to go…. Although I won’t point out that usually cool places don’t need to say they are. You can spot me in the window reflection taking the photo…

Loving it though – hasn’t quite sunk in… but am off to beach first thing in morning.  Staying at Rick’s am very spoilt so loving that too, best breakfast and beds. And there is sunshine – endless sunshine ;-)   am one happy vegemite.  Ciao for now…
